M2M generally refers to machine-to-machine or machine-to-mobile communications. It's basically the communication between wireless devices, such as, GPS tracking systems, cell phones and other wireless devices. Wireless devices can communicate via GSM, CDMA, Satellite, WLAN, Bluetooth, and RFID. The applications for M2M are unlimited, but it is widely used for remote monitoring of people, vehicles, billing, inventory, control, security and obtaining information around the world. M2M is becoming a must-have system of communication, and it is utalized by nearly everyone for personal or commercial applications.
